About our Partnerships

Centrifuge

Each year close to 100,000 students attend Lifeway Christian Resources Centrifuge camps – Centrifuge, Centri-kid, MFuge International, XFuge, FugeCombo, and Crosspoint.  Students experience age-appropriate dynamic worship, great teaching, interactive Bible study, life-changing application events, fun fellowship with other campers, AND learn about missions.  Students are encouraged to pray and give toward a missions emphasis.

In 2006, Lifeway Student Camp Ministry entered a five-year partnership with Roma Ministries, concluding in 2010. In 2006, Centrifuge gave more than $100,000 for existing ministry projects.

In 2007, students first learned about the history, culture, and condition of the Roma people.  Students were encouraged to pray for existing churches, leaders, and believers.  During the first year of the partnership, students gave more than $250,000.  Centrifuge staff personnel participated in a volunteer missions project in Skopje, Macedonia with Betty Easter in March 2008.

In 2008, more than 450 students, youth groups, and churches participated in international mission projects with the Roma in Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Poland, and Czech Republic.  In 2008, campers gave more than $350,000 to Roma projects.  Funds allowed Roma Ministries to send 18 ROMA students on international mission projects; host, direct, and subsidize family camps in Poland; maintain two ministry centers in Poland; and provided funds for a second printing of the Romany hymnal in Romania.   Also, Centrifuge staff personnel participated in a volunteer missions project in Brno, Czech Republic and Braila, Romania.

In 2009, more than 200 students will join Roma Ministries in Greece, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, and Czech Republic to assist in church strengthening and church starting.

International World Changers

The vision for International World Changers is to involve students in the task of global evangelism.  Through the direction of George Siler, IWC partners with Roma Ministries to compliment and assist on-going field ministry strategies.  Youth groups and churches partner with others to have a complimentary missions project focusing upon the Roma.  Most projects are one week.  Students work with children, sports, teens, English as a Second Language, arts/crafts, VBS, and camp ministry to strengthen existing churches and help with the creation of new groups.
